She was wonderful. She listened very intently to everything I had to say, including a lengthy description of my past (related) health issues. She answered all of my questions in a very clear manner. She was open about what things concerned her about my condition and my test results. She was also encouraging, basically saying that she will get to the bottom of what is going on with me and assured that there are treatments for the conditions I might have. She has a wonderful personality and was easy to talk to.

I rated recommending the care provider as "fair" because I was expecting to see an MD, not a NP. I recognize the need to meet patient demand with mid-level providers and value their clinical expertise. However, for a specialty care initial consultation (after waiting months to be seen) I should've been evaluated by the board certified physician to establish care and treatment plan.

Absolute Best care, I have a lot going on and it has been a rough road trying to sort it out. The time, patience, care and diligence finding out what is going on has been absolutely next level. Practical treatments and plans have been put in place instead of just bandaided with medication, the communication is something that I do not have with ANY of my providers. I feel safe and extremely well taken care of. The compassion, thoroughness and true care that is being administered is something that I cannot begin to verbalize. Absolutely blessed to have her in my corner.

Dr Prates is one of a kind. When I know I'm having an appointment with her I truly love that day. My day just cannot go wrong she is the best. I thought maybe that doctors lost their genuine self in treating patients. I thought those days were over. But then I started going to Crista and she just brought it all back that doctors are still genuine in caring for their patients.
